Chapter 7

They were finally back in Tulsa. While Isaac and Belinda were discussing the wedding plans, Taylor put on his roller blades and went outside. He would have asked Zac to come with him except he was more interested in some chick he'd met online. What Cherry would do when she found out, who knew?

Taylor was thinking about this when a foot stuck out and tripped him over. He skidded across the pavement before he stopped. His hands were skinned, as were his knees. While he was inspecting the damage, a high heeled black boot stepped in front of him.

Taylor slowly looked up. Aside from the knee-high boots, she was wearing tight black pants, a small, tight black top and black gloves. Her hair was black and her eyes were the blackest eyes anyone had ever seen. Her skin looked strangely pale, almost white, which was an interesting contrast for all the black.

"Was it you that tripped me over?" he asked accusingly.

The girl didn't answer. She just watched as Taylor stood up. He stared at her for a good few seconds, before turning and started to skate off.

"Going so soon?" she asked.

That made Taylor pause. He turned immediately and stared at her again.

"You... that... that voice..." he whispered.

A rather unpleasant smirk crossed her face.

"You must be so happy to see me face to face, finally Taylor."

"I thought I had heard the last of you."

"Well, that's the problem right there, isn't it? You thought. Tsk, tsk, tsk."

"Hey, don't disregard thinking. Too little people do that these days."

"With good reason."

"Yeah, people are turning into sheep."

The girl laughed. It was a rippling laugh, and oddly beautiful, although it made Taylor cringe.

"I couldn't have put it better myself," she smiled. "I'm Su."

"I don't care."

"Sure you do. Don't you want to know why I was hanging around during the tour?"

"You want me to kill myself. That much I figured."

"And you still will," she assured him.

"No, I won't."

Taylor turned and started skating towards home. Su watched, the smirk still on her face. Once he was out of sight, she looked around.

"I know you're here Moira," she said. "I know you're watching. And I know you're helpless to do anything."

Su cackled hideously.

"I will have him yet, Moira. And you will watch him come to me."
