As he curled up in bed he could feel those sensuous hands and lips again caressing his body. As much he begged for her to stop, the touching continued. He just wanted to sleep, and yet here he was, continually haunted by this, this, whatever it was.
“Leave me alone,” he moaned. “Leave me alone.”
“Come join me,” she whispered. “You know I’ll take care of you.”
“Go away! Go away!”
“Come with me, Taylor, come with me.”
“No, no, never. Never!”
“Tay?” Zac asked, walking in. “Are you ok?”
“Zac! Zac, oh man, you gotta help me!”
“Sure. Anything. What is it?”
“Get her away. Make her leave.”
Zac paused.
“Who?”
“Her! The one who wants me to kill myself.”
“Kill yourself?” Zac repeated. “M-moira?”
“No! Never Moira! Never! Someone, someone else...” he groaned. “Zac... she’s touching me. Oh man, make her stop. Make her stop!”
“Tay, I... how?”
“If I knew... if I knew...”
“He can’t help you. He doesn’t want to. He doesn’t care about you, Taylor. He doesn’t care,” the voice whispered.
Seeing his brother writhe in his own cold sweat, Zac did the only thing he could think of to do.
“Look, I don’t know who you are, or what you are, but I do know this: I’m not gonna let you take my brother away from me. So... go away and never come back or I will personally hunt you down and feed you to the dogs,” he paused. “On second thoughts I won’t feed you to anyone. You’d probably poison them.”
The voice hissed and left. Taylor relaxed for a moment, then grabbed Zac’s shirt.
“Please Zac, please, make sure you or Ike are always with me ok? I’m... I’m scared she might... she’s gone now, but she’ll come back and I don’t know... I don’t know... if I’ll have the self control for long if she keeps coming...”
Zac didn’t know what to say at first, somewhat stunned by what his brother was telling him. At last he nodded.
“Don’t worry, I will. I will,” he assured him.
