"I noticed." Isaac replied dryly.
Zac snickered quietly from behind the computer. He was writing Bree another e-mail:
Hey Bree!!!!!!!
Yeah, very messy - that's kinda the idea :o)
Truth or Dare is a stupid game. But you're right - it might work... hehe
"Are you gonna play a game Zac?" Taylor asked.
"Maybe later."
"Writing to Bree again huh?"
"Yep."
Taylor was quiet for a moment.
"Are you sure you don't want another game Ike?"
"Yep. I wanna read now."
Taylor sighed.
"Why don't you ask Jess? Or Laura?" Zac asked, knowing what the answer would be.
"Laura? You have to be kidding me!" he retorted, sounded rather offended.
Taylor threw down the controls.
"Just forget it, I'm gonna find something else to do."
Isaac peered up from his book and grinned at Zac.
"Is it just me, or doesn't he like her much?" he joked.
"Oh, I'm sure you're making up for him." Zac teased.
Isaac rolled his eyes.
"Zac, I know you think I have a thing for her, but I don't."
"Sure."
There was quiet for a moment.
"How do we explain her?" Isaac asked suddenly.
"Huh?"
"Laura. C'mon, sooner or later people are going to notice and someone's gonna ask about her."
"So? We just tell them she's one of our people on the road."
"Yeah, but what does she do? Like what do we say her job is?"
"We tell them the truth of course."
"We can't admit she's our bodyguard!"
"No, not that part of the truth. The other part."
"What other part?"
"She's Jason's niece."
"Oh, yeah, that's right. I'd forgotten that."
Zac grinned at him.
"They don't look at all related do they?"
"Nope."
"And just think, when you can Laura get married, you'll be sorta related to Jason as well!"
Isaac threw a magazine at his grinning brother.
