Taylor went on to read the rest of the e-mail and then started on his own.
Hi Moira,
Sorry, some of these memories are a little painful. You'll pardon me if I keep cutting off like that.
Like I was saying, the trouble really started when I got back. Olivia accused me of flirting with other girls, both during the shows she saw, and then branching off into saying that I probably cheated on her while I was there too. She was coughing up huge fuss over absolutely nothing. I would never cheat on her and I told her so.
Olivia plays baseball, and at the time, she had just finished baseball practice. She still had her baseball bat in her hand. And she had a terrible temper.

"Ow!" Taylor objected, rubbing his arm where she had hit him with the baseball bat. "What was that for?"
"For lying to me! And this is for cheating on me!" Olivia declared, raising the baseball bat again, her eyes flaming with rage.
She swung the bat again, hitting his chest and his waist.
"Would you stop that?" Taylor glared, grabbing the baseball bat.
He attempted to wrench it from her grip, but she kicked him in his groin and he fell to the ground, letting go of the baseball bat.
She hit him again, over his back, and she kept on going until Taylor stopped resisting. Then she dropped the baseball bat as if in rage and knelt down beside him, wrapping her arms around him.
"Oh Tay, I'm so sorry." She said gently. "I don't know what came over me then."
"I wouldn't cheat on my girlfriend." Taylor replied, trying really hard to stop himself from crying.
Getting hit will a baseball bat will do that to people.
"Yes, yes, I know." She answered. "I guess, too many ex-boyfriends who did. I'm sorry sweetie, I won't do it again."

I should have walked away then and there I suppose. But she sounded so sincere, and I liked her a lot.
Besides, she looked really cute in her baseball gear.
Ok, ok, I know that probably sound stupid, but that's what happened. And I was very stiff and sore over the next few days, but I figured it was a once-off and it wouldn't happen again.
Naturally Ike and Zac wanted to know why, I just told them I was sleeping funny or something. Like I'd really admit I was bashed by a girl. And Olivia of all people - she didn't look like she had even one little muscle on her. They'd laugh in my face.
