Isaac shrugged, a little nervously.
"Umm, I probably left it there after my shower last night. You know I left it on my belt."
"Oh."
"Ha! You left it there after you rang that girl again." Libby piped up.
"What girl?" Jasmine asked, a gleeful look in her eye.
"His girlfriend." She replied smugly.
As it was, Libby was pretty embarrassed about losing the game, and the only way she could think of to redeem herself, was to embarrass or pretty much be a bitch to someone else.
It was working.
"Girlfriend?" Deanna repeated.
"Ike, I thought you weren't gonna call her?" Taylor asked pointedly.
Isaac opened his mouth to answer, but Libby cut in.
"Aww, poor little Ikey felt really guilty about making out with Deanna - or that's what he claims. C'mon Isaac, admit you enjoyed every nanosecond of it."
"Excuse me? Hello?" Zac interrupted. "Monopoly. Now. I'm winning!"
"Shut up Libby. I thought you said you weren't gonna say anything." Isaac growled.
"I changed my mind."
"Just shut up!"
"Who's turn is it?" Zac asked, desperately trying to change the subject. "No one landed on Mayfair without telling me did they?"
"No Zac. And it's your turn." Taylor replied, trying to help.
"Have you spoken to her?" Deanna asked.
There was silence for a moment.
"Hey look, I got a seven. Ok… I'm moving my little wheelbarrow so that all my money doesn't fall out..." Zac said.
"No." Isaac answered, unable to look at Deanna. "She doesn't ever seem to be at home."
"Call her now."
"When there's cameras? No, I don't want the whole world hearing what I say to her. It's only while Libby's showering that I call."
"Then send her an e-mail - or talk to her in a chatroom, or something. I, I wouldn't want you to have any problems with her over me." Deanna looked like she was going to cry.
There was quiet again.
"Ok, well, it's your turn Jasmine, and I hope you're happy."
"Hey, It's not my fault you landed on Vine Street and had to pay me a thousand bucks. Why should you care anyway? You're loaded."
