"Uhh, hello?"
"Ike?"
"Karina?"
On that Isaac turned his back to the others.
"I, umm, I heard you were trying to call me." Karina said.
"Yeah, yeah I was. Are you upset? What's wrong?"
"Ike, I umm… I… Terri was watching… she umm…."
"Karina? Wh-what is it?"
Karina took a deep breath.
"Terrisawyoukissthatgirl." She said quickly.
"Pardon?"
Karina took another breath, and this time said more slowly:
"Terri saw you kiss that girl. Ike, I, I thought…"
"Oh Karina, please, please don't cry. I didn't mean it. It was an accident! That's why I've been trying to call you ever since -"
"Isaac, just shut up."
Isaac was taken aback. He said nothing.
"Look, Ike, Ike…" Karina was sounding very teary. "Ike, I've been thinking… and look, I know you Ike. I know you wouldn't have kissed her unless… unless… unless you had…"
Karina couldn't say any more.
"Karina, what - what are you saying? Oh please don't cry. Only two more days to go. Two more and I'll be back home."
"Ike, I'm, I'm sorry… I just can't…"
There was quiet for a few moments. Karina was crying.
"Karina? Karina are you breaking up with me?"
Even though Isaac tried to say this quietly, the others still heard it. They looked at each other nervously.
"Ye -yes Ike. I, I, I guess I am."
"Oh no, Karina no. I can make it up to you oh please Kar -"
Karina had hung up. Isaac stared at the phone in his hand.
"I'm, I'm sorry dude." Taylor said softly.
There was only silence.
