Hope beamed.
"Thank you." She replied happily.
"Let's go get some lunch."
"Ok!"
Zac and Hope headed off. As promised, Zac had written a small role for Hope into the movie, which, of course was what he had been working on lately.
Sometime during lunch, Zac's phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hi Zac."
"Hey, and, ahh, you are?"
"This is Sarah."
"Oh! Oh hi Sarah - you sound different over the phone."
"Don't we all?"
"So, what's up?"
"Well, ahh, I don't suppose you've heard that Mackie's planning on going to collage for two years?"
"No, I hadn't."
"Well, he is. And Zoe's mad as hell about it."
Zac laughed.
"I can imagine."
"Umm, anyway, umm, well, I hadn't mentioned this to Zoe, but, umm... I know you're working on that movie at the moment, but umm..."
"What?"
"Well, I was wonder if maybe, you wouldn't mind taking Mackie's place?" Sarah went on before Zac had a chance to reply. "We're still on tour at the moment and we're planning on taking a small break first before we start recording and stuff so it's not like it would start tomorrow or anyt-"
"Whoa, whoa... give a guy a chance to think." Zac cut in. "Look, right now, I'm concentrating on the movie ok?"
"Yeah, I know bu-"
"But nothing. Look, let's just say maybe for the time being ok Sarah? You finish off your tour and we'll see what I'm doing then ok?"
"Ok. I'd just thought I'd ask."
"Hey, and I'm glad you've been thinking of me. Say, Hope here's do you want to talk to her?"
"Sure."
Zac turned his attention to Hope.
"Hey Hope, it's Auntie Sarah on the phone. You remember her don't you?"
"Yep!"
"Here," he continued, handing her the phone, "why don't you say hello?"
Hope smiled and took the phone.
