"I didn't think so." Isaac replied. "I saw you reading that and I was like, 'whoa'."
Babsie grinned.
"But, y'know, when your brother-in-law is on the cover -"
"What? Who? Why?"
Babsie laughed.
"It was a certain Zac Hanson with his new girlfriend."
Isaac gaped at her, then shook his head.
"Well, I suppose you have to admit, a lot of guys would be jealous of Zac right now."
"Yeah, I reckon."
"You reckon what?" asked Taylor and he and Rita joined them.
"I reckon, we reckon that lots of guys would be jealous of Zac."
"Jealous of Zac?" Taylor repeated. "Why would anyone be jealous of him?"
"Two words: Lanie McLauglin." Isaac answered. "Duh."
"Oh, yeah. I forgot they started dating."
"I think it's sweet." Rita commented. "And they make a really good looking couple."
"Nah, I think they're strange looking couple because like, Lanie is gorgeous, and Zac is, ahh, not." Isaac joked.
"Yeah, I'm with ya on that one dude." Taylor agreed with a grin.
Babsie and Rita gave each other a look.
"Meanwhile, all Zac's fans just felt a shiver run down their spine." Babsie joked, then, putting on a kind of ditzy voice. "No! I just felt a change in the cosmos!"
She gasped dramatically, and then laughed at herself.
"Umm, Babsie, are you feeling ok?" Taylor asked.
"No, I don't know anyone named 'Ok'."
"Really? Neither do I." Isaac put in.
"Oh my gosh, no kidding?"
"No kidding at all."
"Wow, that is so amazing."
"Yes, I know."
"Umm, Rita?"
"Yes Tay?"
"I think we better leave these two psychos alone. It might be contagious."
Rita giggled and followed him out of the room.
