"Yes Ike?"
"Have you noticed anything strange about Zac lately?"
"Zac is always strange."
"Yeah, ok, I'll believe that. But, umm, stranger than usual?"
Taylor thought for a moment.
"Umm, y'know, now that you mention it, I think he has been rather quiet lately."
"And have you noticed he's been talking on the phone a lot?"
"It's probably Beryl. Y'know, his girlfriend?"
"It's not Beryl. It's someone named Larry."
"Larry?"
"Yes, Larry. I know because I've overhead snitches of his conversation."
"Oh? What do they usually talk about?"
"I'm not sure. I don't hear enough to figure that out. Besides, it's a little… confusing."
"Oh, well, there we go. With Zac, of course it's confusing."
"Yeah I know, but still…" Isaac continued. "I'm getting the impression he's hiding something from us."
"Probably. But it wouldn't be the first time."
"Yeah, well, I'm not so sure I like these rare occasions when he hides stuff from us."
"Oh?"
"I'm sure he's plotting something nasty."
Taylor nodded.
"You know, I'm with you on that one. Maybe we should think up our counter attack now."
"Yeah… never know when he might strike."
"It'll have to be a good one - say, why should we wait for him to strike first? Why shouldn't we strike first? Catch him off guard?"
"Brilliant! So, whatcha have in mind?"
"Umm… I'll let you when I think of something."
"Yeah, me too."
