Chapter 41

"Yeah, so Taylor and I figured they could record their album while we're recording our and we can tour together." Isaac was saying.

Zac nodded.

"Yeah, ok."

"You don't have a problem with it?"

"Of course not. Why would I? They are my nephews after all."

"Guys! Check this out!" exclaimed Taylor, walking into the tour bus, brandishing a piece of paper.

"What?" Isaac asked.

"This is a print out of an e-mail I just got… you know that band we signed a few years ago now? Shining Armour?"

"Yeah, what about it?" Zac answered.

"They're breaking up."

Isaac stared, wide-eyed.

"They, they're breaking up." He repeated.

"Yep." Taylor nodded.

"They're breaking up."

"Yeah Ike, we've pretty much established that." Zac commented dryly. "I didn't know you were such a huge fan."

"No, no, it's not that… it's just… Carmen was right."

"Huh?"

"I, I'd kinda forgot about it, but late last year I think, Esme and Carmen were fighting because Carmen thought that… that Shining Armour was going to break up with a year and a half."

"You're joking." Taylor said. "You're joking right?"

"No."

"I, I wonder if that was a fluke or whether she's picked up on Babsie's, umm, instincts." Zac said.

Isaac shrugged.

"What's the betting the next thing Carmen will do when she finds this out is go up to Esme and say 'I told you so'?" Zac grinned.

"Well, no actually, if she's like Babsie, she'll just follow Esme around with a big smirk on her face." Isaac replied.

Taylor laughed.

"Yeah, that sounds just about right." He said.
