However, mainly due to conflicting schedules, the only time they could really arrange to meet was in a shopping centre just after they had performed a couple of songs.
Right now they were waiting for her to arrive. While they were waiting, Zac was entertaining some of the younger kids with some silly game he'd made up on the spot. There was a knock on the door, and in came a woman with a red tattooed stripe coming from about the middle of her forehead above her left eye down to about the middle of her left cheek. She also had purple hair too. In fact, she looked much like the X-men whose name she shared.
What's more, was the astonishing resemblance to Babsie.
"This is too cool." Babsie and Psylocke said together - unintentionally.
Then they laughed at the incident.
Isaac, Taylor, Zac and Rita stared in total shock.
"I like your hair." Psylocke joked. "Great colour."
"Really? I like yours too. And hey, go the tatt."
"Why, thanks."
"You're not at all an X-men fan are ya?"
"Me? Never."
"Someone pinch me." Zac said, eyes wide. "I'm in some sort of really terrifying nightmare aren't I? Wake me up right now."
Babsie and Psylocke poked their tongues out at him. Then they laughed again.
"You know, I'm with Zac. This is way too weird." Taylor agreed. "One Babsie is bad enough, but two?"
"Wow, if it wasn't for the tattoo, and the different clothes, I'd have so much trouble telling you apart." Rita said in amazement. "And I grew up with Babsie."
"So, no offence, but who are all these people?" Psylocke asked.
"Well, obviously, I'm Babsie. Isaac is my husband. That's my cousin Rita, and she's Taylor's wife. And that's Zac of course. And then there's all the kids… those four over there are Mike, Sam, Adam, Xavier. Hope, Esme, Morgan, Carmen, Cosmo, Duke, Matt, Duane. Rogue, Storm -"
"- seems I'm not the only X-men fan around here -"
"Rose, Tobias," Babsie continued with a grin, "Cyke and Lockie - otherwise known as Cyclops and Psylocke, Kyle, Libby, Joy, Char. Wolvie, Gambit and Myst."
"Hmm, another Psylocke huh? Well, most people call me Psy for short, so lets stick with that."
"How'd you end up with that name anyway?" Zac asked.
"I had it legally changed."
"Duh Zac." Isaac said, but strangely quiet.
"What was your name originally?" Zac continued.
"The name I grew up with was Fay McManners. But I don't know the name I was born with. I was adopted."
"I bet it was Nicola." Isaac commented softly.
Everyone stared.
"Babs, I, I, know you don't like me talking to Harry but -"
Babsie turned her face away from him with a look of disgust.
"But he once told me that you… you did have a twin sister. Then one day you guys were in a park and they turned their back for a moment and Nikki was gone." He rushed on to say. "And, and, there's a box that Rita's mum gave me for you a few years ago. It has some family stuff in there - I admit I had a peek. There are clear records of Nikki… and this is, this is way too big a coincidence… to be a coincidence."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Psylocke said. "Let me get this straight. You think I'm her twin sister, like separated from birth kinda thing?"
Babsie and Psylocke stared at each other. Then small, identical smiles grew on their faces.
"How cool is that?" they said together.
