Chapter 32

Speaking of MTV, guess where they were a couple of weeks later?

"Actually, actually," Taylor cut in, "Ike and I have been working on this song right? And uhh, it is finished except that we haven't told Zac about it."

Zac gave them a wary look.

"That's right, and you wanted to perform it on the show today."

"Yep. Ok, so of course, it would sound really weird without a drummer, so we called up back home where our brother and sisters band, Indecision," Isaac paused for the screams, "are working on a new album. Umm, Mackie didn't want to come because he's more interested in his new girlfriend, but Zoe decided to come up, so she's over there, waiting at the drums…"

"Yeah so, we're just gonna pop over there now and present our new song." Taylor finished.

"Why do I suddenly have a bad feeling about this?" Zac asked suspiciously.

"Good. Because I have two words for you." Isaac replied. "Black Eye."

"Black Eye? What the - oh no… you haven't!"

"We have! Revenge is sweet!" Isaac crowed triumphantly.

"Yeah well, just so everyone knows, Black Eye is about Isaac." Zac exclaimed. "You write an embarrassing song about me, I'm gonna tell everyone about the embarrassing song about you."

"One problem Zac."

"What's that?"

"I'm not embarrassed about it any more. Ready guys?"

"Hit it!" Zoe cried enthusiastically from behind the drums.

It was undeniable that the bit at the end was the best part:

"And I know in the morning that I'm gonna be… hungover
And why can't they see that I am terribly… hungover
And why can't they tell that this headache's from hell… hungover
And never again will I ever be… hungover

Hungover
Hungover
Hungover

Hey, quit yelling!"

There was huge applause. Isaac, Taylor and Zoe grinned at everyone (especially at Zac). Zac was trying to hide his embarrassed smile.

"That was a little number we like to call… Hungover." Taylor announced.

"Really? No joke?" Isaac laughed.

"Hey, hey Zac," Zoe teased, thinking of a part in the middle of the song, "how many bottles of beer?"
