Chapter 99

"Babsie, you've had insane ideas before, but this one is ridiculous." Rita commented.

"Oh, you're just mad because you're starting to show. Really girl, no one's going to notice." Babsie replied. "You'll make a great Pippi."

"You should have done Cruella after all Babsie." Jess said. "It would have looked cool."

"Nah, I wouldn't want to get married dressed up as Cruella." Babsie replied. "That's just wrong."

"But getting married dressed up as Storm is right?" Rita asked incredulously.

"Yep!" Babsie laughed.

"You have to give her credit for originality. Not many people would think of having a fancy-dress wedding." Jess pointed out.

Not much later, Isaac was waiting with his Best Man Zac, groomsmen Taylor and Dennis, and page boy Mackie.

"I still think you should have done Austin Powers." Zac mumbled.

"Yeah, but that's what everyone thought I would do. That's no fun." Isaac replied.

Isaac was dressed as Wolverine, Zac was a bikie, Taylor was a pirate, Dennis was Captain Picard and Mackie was Elvis.

"See? We always knew you two deserved each other." Taylor teased.

Isaac just grinned.

Finally it started and the bridal party started coming down the aisle. First, Zoe as Janis Joplin, followed by one of Babsie's friends, Rachel, as Seven of Nine (Star Trek). Then Jess as a gothic, Rita as Pippi Longstocking and finally, Babsie in her rather flattering Storm (X-men) costume, whos' hair had been dyed silvery white especially for the occasion.

Isaac and Babsie had no idea what the other was going to be, they simply had agreed on comic book superheros that have been in movies. They nearly cracked up laughing when they saw each other.

Isaac and Babsie had decided not to have the Honeymoon until after their tour was finished, so they went right back to work.

This was very interesting, because just about everyone knew it was a fancy-dress wedding. In fact, the talk of it was so much, that parts of it were even shown on Hot Stuff and MTV.

"Oh c'mon dude, how come you're up here, and your little woman is still down in Australia?" One interviewer asked at one stage.

"I dare you to call Babsie 'little woman' to her face." Zac interjected with a grin. "I dare you."

"Well, you know, Babs has her job, and I have mine. Neither of us want to give them up. So, you know, it's cool."

Sometime later, during the same interview, another topic was brought up:

"So we heard you guys were going to start your own record label."

"Yeah well, we've been planning it for a long time. Right now we're looking for the personal, cause we wanna keep touring and playing ourselves." Taylor answered. "But yeah, it's definitely something we're working on. We were hoping to get something running for the next album, but we don't think it's going to work out just yet."

"Of course it's not gonna happen just yet." Zac put in contemptuously. "You two are way too interested in increasing the family number."

"Yeah, that's exactly it Zac." Isaac joked. "We're secretly having this competition - who can have the most kids."

"I'm winning! By three!" Taylor laughed. "And one more on the way. You haven't even gotten that far."

Isaac just grinned at him with a knowing twinkle in his eye.
