"Ok, we're on in five... four... three... two... one..."
"Guess who's on now?" asked Babsie rhetorically.
There was screaming.
"Yeah! Here they are! Hanson!"
Isaac couldn't help but smile. She was so animated! They launched into If Only.
When they'd finished, the girls screamed. Then Jarod and Nick came over and started 'inspecting' them as it were.
"What on earth are you doing?" Babsie inquired from her seat.
"We're trying to figure out why you like these guys so much." Jarod answered.
"Yeah, it's not as if they're actually any good!" Nick joked.
Of course, this particular comment was awarded with a few very loud boos. Babsie laughed.
"C'mon guys, have a seat."
Isaac, Taylor and Zac walked down from the platform (leaving Jarod and Nick 'inspecting' the instruments) and they sat down on the couch waiting for them. When they did, a most disgusting noise let loose.
"What the - ?" came Taylor as Babsie (and a good portion of the audience) burst into laughter.
"Whoopee cushions." She explained. "Wow I love that gag. Works every time."
Zac had pulled out the whoopee cushion and now threw it at her. It hit her head.
"Ooh, nice shot." She replied. "Ok, so now I have to ask some really boring everyone-asks-you-these questions. But every now and then I'm gonna throw in something original.
"Cool."
And so the interview proceeded.
"Phew, ok, rumours. I love asking about rumours. I love putting people to shame." Babsie grinned. "So, Tayles -"
"Don't call me that."
"Tayles, what's the deal with you and Mandy Moore?"
"We're not dating."
"Besides, you've already got a chick huh?" Nick asked.
"This is my interview Nicky-boy, not yours!" interjected Babsie.
"Uhh, yeah, I do have a girlfriend."
You should have heard the, err, reaction from the fans.
"Aww, wanna tell me about her?"
"No."
Babsie shrugged.
"What about you Ike? Zac? Oh, I bet Zac's a player. You probably have a girl in every city you've ever been to all around the world huh?" Babsie 'joked'.
"Oh yeah. They're just all fighting over my body."
"And Ike?"
"Uhh, no."
"What? You like, 20 and you haven't got a girlfriend? That's just sad."
Isaac smiled.
"Yeah well, you're 20, Babsie and you don't have a boyfriend. At least, not one that isn't online..." Jarod pointed out teasing. "Maybe we should set you two up."
Babsie grinned and wrapped her arm around Isaac.
"Oh, well, see, we really are dating, but we weren't going to tell anyone." She kidded.
Jarod rolled his eyes at her as she laughed and pulled her arm away. All in all, as it went on, they found it was one of the more... interesting appearances they had. Well, that might have something to do with the fact that the Hansons had been given permission to run on stage almost whenever they wanted and do almost whatever they wanted. There was a huge water fight in the middle of the show. And who could forget when the two lunatics (Babsie and Zac of course) sang a very... interesting version of "You may be right" (Billy Joel) complete with head banging.
That was one thing that would probably find itself on a show entitled "the Best of Hot Stuff".
