Rogue and Storm walked into Isaac's office.
"Mum, Dad," Rogue began.
"We've got something to tell you."
Isaac and Babsie looked up at them.
"Yes?" asked Isaac.
"When we record our next album -"
"We would like to go to LA."
"Uncle Mackie's studio not good enough for you?" Isaac teased.
"No, it's not that," Storm replied.
"It's more that, well -"
"That's where Cam and Mac are."
"Oho!" Babsie said, her eyes glittering fiendishly. "So, is there some truth behind those rumours that the four of you are dating?"
"Mum!" Rogue said that same time as Storm's "No!"
"A little too defensive there, don't you think Ike?"
"Do you think it's time we talked to them about -"
"I reckon if we've haven't got the birds and the bees -" interrupted Rogue.
"Figured out by now, what with twelve younger siblings -"
"There may not be any hope for us ever to learn."
"But moving right along. The reason why we want to hang out with Cam and Mac -"
"Is because we had so much fun on their current movie -"
"Making it, that is, that well, ever since we've been talking about making -"
"A whole movie with all of us."
"It depends on how this one turns out."
"But even if we decide not to go ahead with it straight away -"
"We can get started on the script and stuff."
"We already have a plot."
Isaac and Babsie looked at each other.
"Well," said Babsie at last. "You seem to have thought this through."
"When would you like to start recording? Have you finished your demos?" Isaac asked.
"Not quite."
"We'd like to be in LA about March."
"That's when their movie premieres."
"Tell me, what happens if you decide to go ahead with the movie, and yet you're still recording? What happens when you go to promote?"
"Well... probably some of the songs would go on the soundtrack..." Storm said thoughtfully. "We'd just delay the album and focus on the movie instead."
"We've already got a title."
"It was Mac's idea."
"See, they started a production company when they started this movie."
"The company is called 'Twinspiration'."
"And so we've decided to call our movie -"
"Twingenuity!" they said together.
Isaac and Babsie regarded each other.
"Don't we have enough people in this family who make bad jokes without inviting our friends to join in?" asked Isaac.
"Hmm, well technically, Cam and Mac aren't our friends."
"Oh, well, that's okay then," Isaac paused and frowned. "No, actually it's not. We don't mind you kids making friends of course, but especially when it involves projects like this we'd prefer to get to know them."
"Colin Hanks is a spunk," Babsie offered helpfully. "I remember interviewing him a few times, and I've met Alexa. But I can't say I know too much about the kids."
"Maybe we should invite them over sometime?"
"A long way to travel for a dinner date."
"A weekend maybe? We can only offer."
"True. And Colin and Alexa probably feel the same way."
"We have their number," Storm offered.
"Thanks you Storm. We'll give them a call and see if we can't arrange for your boyfriends and their family to come over."
"Mum!" the twins objected.
"They're not our boyfriends."
"Sure, sure," Babsie teased.
