Isaac looked at Taylor and Zac who were attempting to hide smiles as Babsie came into the room.
"Sounds like I'm in trouble."
They had just performed a concert and were sitting backstage, relaxing after a meet and greet, when Babsie had barged in.
"Dude... dude you've done it to me again."
"Done what?"
"I'm pregnant again."
Isaac stared at her for a moment.
"Ooh, I'm been a very naughty boy. Spank me."
Taylor and Zac cracked up laughing. Babsie rolled her eyes in amusement.
"Oh, you think you're so funny don't ya mister?"
"Yep."
"How many months is it?" Zac asked, grinning.
"Just one." She replied. "So, due in October. Gee, first Zac, then Hope, then Duane, and now, umm, whoever is hiding in here. There must be something particularly hormonal about January."
"Nah, you see what it is, is that it's winter in January -" Taylor began
"Only in the Northern Hemisphere." Babsie paused. "Well, actually, I've heard that the closer you live to the equator the less winter you have. In fact, I believe some places don't actually have a winter."
"Whatever. Either way, Zac, Hope, Duane and whoever is hiding in there," he grinned, "were conceived in the Northern Hemisphere. So it was winter. And it was cold. So, naturally, the parents had to huddle together for 'body heat'."
Zac, Isaac, Babsie and Rita laughed.
"Ok, ok, I'll pay that." Babsie smiled.
"Great, how much?"
"How about the pleasure of not having your head bashed in?"
Taylor pretended to think that over.
"Yeah, ok, sounds good to me."
Isaac wrapped his arms around Babsie and nuzzled her neck.
"So, another kiddie."
"Yep. And it better only be one. If I said it once, I'll say it again. I'm not having quadruplets. No way. Uh huh. I'm gonna break the pattern."
"Well, they're still gonna be thirteen months younger than Duke, Sean and Matt."
"I don't mind that pattern. I mind the progression of numbers pattern."
Isaac just smiled.
