She ran over to a rather tall and lanky young man and they embraced. The guys looked at each other.
"Ok, I'm not at all worried about that guy coercing Avie." Zac said. "Talk about a geek."
Isaac and Taylors' eyes met and they snickered.
"Trey, these are my brothers, Taylor, Zac and Ike." Avie said, bringing him over. "And this is Babsie, Rita and, uhh, my nieces and nephews. Everyone, this is my boyfriend Trey."
"Hi Trey, good to meet you." Isaac said shaking his hand.
"Yeah, good to meet you too." Trey replied nervously.
"Avie wouldn't shut up about you." Babsie teased. "I'm glad I could finally put a face to the name."
Trey smiled shyly and glanced at Avie, after shoving his glasses back on his nose.

"He seems like a nice enough guy." Taylor commented some time later.
"Maybe because he is." Avie replied. "And thank you for not embarrassing me."
"Don't worry, we'll make a point of it next time." Isaac joked.
Avie pulled a face at him.
"Personally, I didn't think you were in for the tall, lanky, geeky type." Zac remarked.
"He's not a geek." Avie retorted.
Zac grinned mischievously at her.
"Ok, point taken." He said, causing Avie to look suspicious. "After all, he's dating a television star. I bet all his friends are jealous and the school stud is trying to work out what went wrong."
Avies' reaction was to whack him over the head.
"Zac, Trey is the school stud." Taylor joked.
"C'mon guys." Babsie said. "Looks aren't everything."
"Well, of course you would say that. You're a girl." Isaac replied.
"Yes, I would agree with that. That I'm a chick, that is. But tell me Ike, are my looks all that matter to you?"
"Ooh." Zac grinned. "Ike, you're goin' down."
Isaac leaned back in his chair.
"Well, considering my earliest recollection of you, was when you visited me in the hospital, and you were pregnant at the time..."
"Oh?" Babsie asked, with an amused-offended look on her face. "So, you're saying I'm ugly when I'm pregnant?"
"No." Isaac replied, a grin growing on his face. "No, I must find it rather attractive considering I've done it to you so often."
Babsie laughed.
