Chapter 72

"Archer?" Isaac repeated. "What type of name is that?"

"A boys name. Seriously, see? I found it in this name book."

"A bowman?" Isaac burst out laughing. "Oh, I so should have see that one coming."

Babsie grinned.

"How about this one, Uno."

"Uno? Isn't that a game?"

"Yeah, it's also a boys name. It means 'the One' or 'perfection'."

Isaac shook his head in amusement.

"How's that for an ego boost?" he smiled. "You can't seriously want to name our kids these?"

"And why not?"

"Well, well, uhh... well, they're weird. I mean, really weird."

"Point being?"

In case you wanted to know, during the night Babsie went into labour and gave birth to three boys. They were now debating names. Have you noticed that they always wait until the last minute?

"Ooh! What about this one!" she cut in before Isaac could reply. "Mayo. Means, kinsman."

"He is not a salad dressing."

Babsie laughed.

"Ok, ok, not occupations, games or foods. What about cars? There's Austin, Magna, Holden, if one of them was a girl, we could have used Mercedes."

"Now I know you're insane."

"Gee dude, how long did it take you to figure that out? I thought everyone knew that." Babsie replied, still flipping through the name book. "Hey what about Lovelace?"

"What?" Isaac exclaimed.

"Lovelace. It really is in here. It's Old English. Means, a love token. Aww." Babsie laughed.

"You can't be serious."

"I am serious. About it being in here. I would so not ever name my son that. Don't be stupid."

"Sometimes, I just don't know what to expect from you."

"That's ok. Neither do I."

After much debate (and plenty more silliness from Babsie about the names she found), they finally decided on Isaac Duke, Sean Cosmo and Gomez Matthew, to be called Duke, Sean and Matt.
