Rita and Babsie weren't going to join them for the promo. Instead, they and the kids flew down to Australia (where they would inevitably meet up with the guys anyway) to meet up with old friends, and of course, Avie.
Babsie hung up the phone and turned to Rita.
"Girl, you will never guess where Avie is." She said, obviously stunned.
"Where?"
"The Masters club."
"What?"
"The Masters club. C'mon dude, we'd better make sure your parents aren't driving her to the point of suicide."
"They aren't that bad."
"And when was the last time you spoke to them?"
Minutes later, they had left the children in the care of two of Babsies' friends, and had arrived at the club. Babsie was not short of a few stares and murmurs when she walked in.
"Oh my gosh." She gasped, staring at the stage.
Rita looked at her, then at the stage. Avie was singing.
"Babsie? Rita!" Mary cried, bounding across to them. "Oh wow, it's been to long! But what are you doing here? Mum'll -"
"We came to see Avie. What's she doing here?"
"Oh, well, she offered to help out."
"She offered?"
"Yep."
"Ok, what is she on?"
Mary laughed.
"Relax Babsie, she's not doing anything. But, uhh, you'd better leave before Mum or Dad sees you. I'll tell Avie you were here. Do you want her to pop around later?"
"Sure. I have a few things to say to her."
"Mind yourself Babsie." Mary teased. "Now go, see ya."
Babsie and Rita left.
"You know something Babsie?" Rita said. "I think Avie's up to somthing."
"Yeah, I'll agree with that. But what?"
"And I think Mary's in on it too."
"Duh. They have gotten along well those two. Funny that Avie didn't mention performing at the club, but she did mention she finally agreed to that CD."
