"Taylor, sit down before you wear a hole in the floor." Zac said.
"Hey, if your wife was in labour you'd be wearing holes in floors too."
"I don't have a wife. But Cassie is pregnant."
"What!" Taylor exploded, stopping in his tracks.
Zac burst out laughing.
"No! Of course not. I was just trying to stop you from pacing, and hey, look it worked!"
Taylor pulled a face at him.
"Mr Hanson?" a nurse said, coming through the door.
"Yes?" Taylor and Zac replied.
"I think she means me Zac." Taylor said.
"Sorry." Zac replied, chuckling.
The nurse gave them an amused smile, before continuing to Taylor.
"Congratulations, you have a baby boy. You can go in and see them now, if you like."
Taylor was all smiles as he followed the nurse back in.
**********
A day or so later, Rita had about a million visitors... well, ok, maybe not a million, but the whole Hanson tribe, a million visitors, not much difference. And besides, there were friends as well...
"What his name?" Cassie asked, watching as the tiny baby was being passed around.
"Adam Hunter." Rita replied.
"Ooh, I like."
"Say, how old are the triplets now?"
"They'll be one next month."
"Wow, so, only eleven months between them."
"Yes, and I have every intention of making sure there a lot more than that before the next one." Rita announced this with a pointed look at Taylor, who just grinned.
"Yeah, eleven months is pretty close. Imagine, for one month these guys are going to be the same age."
"You know, until now, I never actually realised that."
"Well, one thing's for certain, these guys can't avoid the music gene. The question is, do they go pop or jazz?"
Rita laughed.
"They'll invent their own genre." Taylor cut in. "Jazz Pop."
The girls laughed.
"Or maybe Pop Jazz... whatever."
