"Just you remember Jess, you're only allowed to stay with us as long as you still do your school work."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. See ya."
Jess walked out the door, her hand firmly tucked in Austins'. Babsie shook her head with a grin.
"You realise that if you let her get away with it once, she's gonna think you'll let her again." Isaac pointed out.
"Like you said, she is. That doesn't make her right."
"So, are we gonna play or not?" Zac complained, letting loose on the drums briefly. "I wanna get started."
"We have to wait for Tay to get back." Isaac reminded.
"Oh yeah! Where's he and Rita go anyways?"
Isaac shrugged and looked at Babsie, who shook her head. Zac grunted.
Fortunately, it wasn't a long wait before Taylor and Rita returned.
"It's about time!" Zac exclaimed. "I was beginning to think you'd been abducted by the Man from LA or sumthin'."
"Zac, that was just lame." Isaac replied. "So, what's with the gleeful look on your face Tay?"
Taylor smiled at them for a moment before replying.
"Rita's pregnant."
"You know, I'm beginning to think this is a Hanson family sport." Babsie commented from her computer. "Next thing you know, they'll be giving out gold, silver and bronze medals."
Rita giggled.
"Oh, you're just sore, cause you'd only receive the silver, and we'd get the gold." Taylor said.
"No, Rita would get the gold. I don't see any kiddies popping outta your a-"
"Can we get started? Please?" Zac cut in.
If it weren't for the delicate situation surrounding Zac and Hope, the, ahh, discussion probably would have continued. The guys took themselves into the next room to start recording.
"So, accident or no?" Babsie asked.
"Huh?"
"Was the baby an accident?"
"No. I thought two years was a good time to wait." She gave her cousin a smile. "Unlike you."
"Oh, shut up. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that I accidentally get pregnant four months after the previous one is born. It's only happened twice."
Rita smiled, then, changing the subject:
"So, have you got any interviews?"
"Yeah, a few. Umm, three next week. I think there's four the week after, I don't remember."
Rita nodded.
