"All right! The womenfolk are back with the food!"
Isaac and Taylor followed as he bounded out the door as if he were eleven all over again.
"Oh my gosh! Babsie, you've dyed your hair again!" Zac exclaimed.
"Really? I hadn't noticed." She replied dryly. "You know, it's gonna be really funny with the interviews, because I don't do them in the same order that they're shown on the show. There'll be like this string of interviews with my hair one way, and then, smack dang in the middle of the string, it'll be different for one interview."
Babsie snickered at the thought. Isaac eyed her for a moment.
"Ok, what is it? Did something happen at the check up this morning?" he asked.
"What makes you think something's up?" Babsie replied.
"Because I know you."
She gave him a smile.
"Well, nothing happened at the check up. I'm fine, Rita's fine, the babies are fine."
Rita started giggling. Isaac and Taylor's eyes met.
"Maybe you'd like to specify how many babies." Isaac asked finally.
Babsie burst out laughing.
"Well, Rita's having one..."
"And you?"
"Oh, just three."
Isaac stared at her in stunned silence.
"All I can say, I'm not having quadlets or quadtuplets or whatever it is they're called next time ok? It's not gonna happen. I refuse."
Isaac laughed and gave her a hug.
"I must be some sort of genetic freak." Babsie continued. "Admittedly, they're the best kind."
"It's your own fault. That was your screen name - 'Freak of Nature'." Zac pointed out.
"Yeah Babsie, you're just a freak." Taylor added. "That's why you and Ike married dressed up as X-men."
Just then, Babsies' phone rang. She picked it up as the guys continued discussing freaks.
"There is nothing wrong with the X-men dude. The X-men rule." Isaac defended.
"You're just obsessed Ike." Zac put in. "I'm surprised you haven't got a kid named Storm Rogue Hanson. Or Wolverine Cyclops Hanson. Or -"
"Don't give him any ideas Zac."
"Too late." Isaac interjected with a grin.
"Freak."
"Speaking of freaks." Babsie cut in, getting off the phone. "Guess what I just heard?"
"What?" Zac asked.
"Oh, nothing much. Just that they're making a sequel to the X-men movie."
