Chapter 39

While they were in Australia, they, of course, met up with Avie. In fact, without her knowing, they even sat in the audience for one of the shows.

Like The Weird, the Warped and the Wild, they hadn't seen any episodes of this either. So they weren't expecting the character she was playing.

They certainly didn't expect her to be playing an aspiring singer.

"Oh my gosh, I didn't know she could sing." Zac said, wide-eyed. "Well, unless she was ripping off Tay."

"Zac, you may find this earth-shattering news, but she's your sister." Babsie said. "If anyone in your family can't sing, I will, I will, I don't know what I'll do, but it doesn't matter 'cause I won't have to do it."

"Avie! You were amazing!"

Avie looked up at Taylor and blushed slightly.

"Thanks. I didn't know you were gonna be here today..."

"Well, we are. As if we would miss our little sister performing."

She smiled.

"So, what song was that?" Isaac asked. "I didn't recognise it."

"I bet Babsie did." Zac grinned. "And what was it Ms Music Guru?"

"Whatever it was, it was an original track. I never heard it."

"Yeah, it was." Avie cut in before Zac could make a smart-alec reply.

"Who wrote it?" Taylor asked.

"Umm," Avie looked a little embarrassed. "uhh, I wrote it."

"Really?" Zac asked as Jarod joined them.

"Once again, he looks shocked." Babsie put in. "I told you before, she's your sister. Is it so surprising she sings and writes music?"

Avie giggled.

"It was really good Avie. By yourself, or did you have help?"

"Well, I had to have some help. I only play piano."

"You play piano?" Zac gaped.

"You really don't pay much attention to your younger sibs do ya Zac?" Babsie commented dryly.

"Umm, I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that it will reveal incriminating evidence."

"And yet, but saying that, he has revealed incriminating evidence." Isaac chuckled.

"Oh, shut up."

Isaac grinned.

"Anyway, you were amazing Avie." Taylor said, reverting back to the topic.

"Thank you."

"At least she listens to you." Jarod said. "She won't listen to me when I tell her she's good. We only found out by accident that she listen to sing. We're trying to get a CD for the show, but we need to talk her into going into the studio."

"Oh, go on Avie." Isaac encouraged. "That would be so cool."

Avie shrugged.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe." Was her non-committal reply.
