Chapter 37

Get his own sax is exactly what Isaac did, and soon he was finally taking those long awaited lessons.

Rita winced as he blew his first note. He winced as well and grinned at her wryly.

"Umm, is it just me, or did that sound terrible?"

She giggled.

"You'll get there." She assured him.

"Yeah, well, I have no intention of hanging around listening to him getting there." Zac announced. "I'm gonna go do something."

"Like what?" Taylor asked

"Oh, I don't know. Rollar blade down the hallway?"

"The hotel people don't like it when we do that."

Taylor and Zac looked at each other.

"Let's do it!" they shouted together.

Rita giggled as they raced off to get their rollar blades. Isaac gave her a cheeky smile.

"I'm almost tempted to go join them. We Hanson guys don't ever grow up do we?"

She just giggled again.

"Phew, ok, I'm done annoying people today." Taylor said to Zac sometime later. "I'm gonna head back to my room."

"Ok party-pooper." Zac replied.

They split ways. On his way to his room, Taylor passed Isaac's, where his lesson was continuing. The door was closed - probably because people were complaining about the noise...

"Ike!" he heard Rita giggle.

"Oh, c'mon, ain't a guy allowed to be silly?"

Rita just giggled again.

"Ok, ok, I'll try to do it properly this time."

"Good."

Taylor winced at Isaac playing the sax inside.

"That guy needs a lot more practice." He said to himself.

Still, as he flicked between channels on the tv, he couldn't help but feel a little uneasy about Rita spending so much time with Isaac.

Finally, Rita left the room, shaking her head in amusement.

"Hi Tay." She said. "Did you know your brother is crazy?"

Taylor grinned at her as she sat next to him. He wrapped his arm around her and she kissed him. All doubt were immediately wiped from his mind.
