Now consider the fact that they're dating each other and they're both eighteen, what do you think they were doing in there? Or is that a rhetorical question?
Actually, no, Zac had no plans on going that far. Cassie on the other hand...
"Cassie?" Zac whispered.
"Please?"
"Cassie?" this time Zac sounded a little - ok, a lot - shocked.
Cassie ran her fingers through his hair and over his face.
"I want you."
She kissed him passionately and reached for his fly again. Zac pulled away.
"What brought this on?" he asked. "Only last year you were convinced I didn't like you."
"Please?" she begged.
Zac frowned at her, tracing her jaw line.
"You know how I feel about that. Cassie? What's wrong?"
"I, I, nothing. I just, I, I want to be a mom."
The colour practically drained from his face.
"A mom?" He repeated. "I, I thought you were gonna go to college before you had kids."
"I changed my mind. I'm not going to college. Please Zac."
"Cassie... what makes you think I even want to be a dad just yet anyway? I'm only eighteen."
"And how old was Taylor?"
"Nineteen. Oh, ok, you made your point."
Zac sighed and Cassie curled up next to him.
"Zac?"
He looked over at her and kissed her.
"Cassie, I love you, you know that. But don't you think this is a little soon? I mean, what if, not that it would, but what if we were to break up or something?"
"What if one of us died tomorrow?"
There was quiet for a moment.
"I know you probably never expected this from me, but I, I want to live for the moment Zac."
"Live for the moment." Zac repeated.
There was another silence as Zac pondered this. Then he ran his fingers through her hair and kissed her again.
"Ok, if you wanna live for the moment, then so will I. Come on, I have an idea."
