Everyone looked up at Walker, who had picked up the phone.
"You're where?"
Taylor raised an eyebrow at the startled tone of his fathers' voice.
"What on earth are you doing there? ... You did what?"
Isaac tried to hold back a snort of laughter.
"Zac, whatever possessed you to do that? ... This is no time for jokes, we were all worried about you."
Walker sighed.
"You haven't forgotten that the promo tour starts this Wednesday? ... Yes, I suppose we could do that... Ok, talk to you later. Bye Zac."
Walker walked back to the dinner table, shaking his head.
"Where is he?" Diana asked softly, a concerned look on her face.
"You will never believe this."
"So, he did go to the Bermuda Triangle?" Babsie joked.
Isaac pulled a face at her, and she just grinned back.
"He and Cassie are in Las Vegas."
It took a moment for this to sink in.
"They eloped?" Diana asked.
"They eloped." Walker confirmed.
"Hey Babs, isn't that what everyone thought you would do?" Isaac asked.
"Umm, yep. And I disappointed the lot of 'em." Babsie replied gleefully. "Maybe I've been rubbing off on Zac."
"Oh, don't say that. That's scary." Taylor teased.
"Nah, what's scary is the thought they they're probably preparing to consummate the marriage right now." Babsie retorted with a sly grin.
There was a brief silence.
"I've just lost my appetite." Jess said, pushing her plate away.
"Yeah Babsie, we're trying to eat here." Taylor added.
Babsie laughed.
"Why is it that people find the topic so disgusting when it doesn't involve them doing it?" she asked. "I mean, c'mon, kids don't like the thought of their parents doing it, and I'm guessing that parents get freaked out by the thought of their kids doing it too."
Diana smiled. Then she gestured to the triplets, Adam and Xavier.
"I think we've had ample time to prepare. But perhaps a chance of subject. This is the dinner table Babsie."
Babsie grinned.
"Sorry."
