The girls smiled.
It was another episode of Hot Stuff. Babsie was in the middle of an interview with Flammable Material.
"And speaking of which, I have to know," Babsie said seriously. "if someone told you there was a three-headed python in the tour bus, what would you do?"
"A three-headed python?" Sasha repeated. "Umm, I don't think I'd believe them."
"I'd scream." Tanya giggled. "No! A snake! Ahh!"
"What would you do?" Cindy smiled. "Or don't we wanna know?"
"I would so totally try to catch it dude." Babsie replied. "I mean, c'mon, it has three heads! It'll be worth a fortune!"
The girls laughed. Just as the laughter subsided, Babsie bit her bottom lip.
"Umm, so..." she continued, a little short of breath. "You have your tour in Australia. We have the dates here,"
"Are you ok?" Geena asked. "You look a little pale."
"Probably just the lighting." Babsie replied, waving away the comment, then, putting on a ditzy voice, "I may need to touch up my make up during the next ad."
"You sure? I think Geenas' right, you do look a little uneasy Babsie." Cindy put in. "And you're breathing a little harder too."
"I'm fine, seriously. So, about these tour dates, why don't we put them up on the screen? Ok, so you had a concert on Thursday and -"
"Yeah we did, it was great." Geena interrupted quickly. "You really don't look ok Babsie. And your lip is bleeding."
"Yeah, Babsie. We're all the way over here and we totally agree." Nick put in.
Babsie was quiet for a moment.
"Maybe someone else should meet Ike at the airport tonight." She said finally.
"Why?" Tanya asked, her ears perking up at the name of her ex-boyfriend.
Babsie stared going a little red.
"Oh my gosh, you're blushing?" Jarod gasped. "I was beginning to think the day would never come! This should be good."
Babsie pulled a face at him.
"So, what is it Babsie?" Nick asked gleefully. "Why are you blushing and why do you want someone else to meet Ike at the airport?"
She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear as everyone looked at her intensely. Babsie realised that, once again, she was about to cause another live television stirring. She didn't really want another one so soon after the Eminem thing. Which was way over-rated (no thanks to Hansons' influence) in her opinion. Nevertheless, if they were gonna have another incident, then she was just gonna have to over-dramatise it, as per usual.
"Babsie?" Sasha asked softly.
She 'hesitated'.
"Well, umm, my, uhh, my water broke."
