Avie bounded into the studio, happy as a clam and bursting with excitement - wait, does a clam get happy? Oh well, doesn't matter.
"Guess what guess what guess what!" she practically shouted.
"What?" Taylor asked.
"I get to be in an episode of 'Law and Order'!"
"Whoa really? How'd this happen?"
"Ok, so you know my friend Katie who I met last time we were here?"
"Yeah..."
"Well, her moms' boyfriend is one of the writers. I got to go on the set and it was so cool! And they asked me if I'd like to play a part in one of the upcoming episodes! I'm so excited!"
"I didn't know you like acting." Zac commented.
Avie pulled a face at him.
"Yeah, well, there's a lot you don't know about me." She replied smugly.
"She's gonna die." Jess commented dryly.
They glanced over their sister, who had recently taken a liking to the colour black.
"She has about two lines. That's not acting."
"It's five." Avie defended. "And you're just jealous."
"Girls, please." Walker said. "Congratulations Avie."
"Thank you!" Avie was all smiles.
Jess just glowered at her, then headed over to where Marie was playing with Sarah and the triplets. Diana sighed.
"I really don't know what to do about her." She said. "Did you see the boy she came home with in Tulsa?"
"Who, Joel?" Zac asked.
"No, he dumped her." Avie answered. "I don't know why - she wouldn't tell me."
"Which one was Joel?" Walker asked.
"The normal looking one. Which guy were you talking about Mom? The one with the dog collar or the bisexual?"
"Bisexual!" Zac exploded. "Dog collar?"
"The dog collar." Diana answered, strangely calm.
"That was Russ."
"I see we're gonna have to have a talk with Jess." Walker said grimly.
"Why bother? She's not gonna listen."
"One word: Mark." Zac retorted.
"I don't think she's going to make the same mistake twice Zac." Isaac said. "But a different mistake? That's entirely possible."
