Chapter 97

"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Isaac. Happy Birthday to you." Everyone sang.

Isaac grinned at everyone and blew out the candles. All thirty of them.

"Did ya make a wish?" Zac asked.

"No, I forgot." Isaac joked.

Technically, it wasn't actually his birthday for another couple of weeks. However, since they had the promo tour coming up, they decided to throw the party before hand. The plan was, on his actual birthday, if they weren't too tired or busy, they'd go out for a dinner.

"Hey, hey, there are three signs of old age." Taylor grinned. "The first sign is that your hair goes. The second sign is that your memory goes. The third sign is… umm… errr… ohh… I forget."

Everyone laughed.

"Daddy! You gotta open your pressies now!" Duke insisted.

"Ok." Isaac smiled.

He picked up the first one. A long thin box.

"From Zac." He read.

Isaac opened it up (after looking suspiciously at the cheeky grin on Zac's face), and pulled out…

"A walking cane?" he said. "Gee, thanks a lot."

Zac just laughed.

"Y'know, thirty is not that old." Babsie pointed out. "Some people live to be well over a hundred."

"Typical! Take all the fun out of it."

"You do realise what you'll be getting for your thirtieth don't you?"

Zac grinned.

"Oh my goodness! My sax! I've been looking for this for ages!" Isaac said happily. "Thank you so much Rita."

He had opened up another present of course.

"You're welcome Ike." Rita replied.

Taylor gave Rita a pained look.

"You know, I hid that for good reason."

Isaac stuck his tongue out at him.

"Where was it?" he asked.

"I found it up the top of one of the kids' wardrobes a couple of weeks ago."

"Oh!"

"I suppose this means we'll have to listen to you attempting to play it again huh?" Zac sighed.

"Yep."

Zac and Taylor gave Rita a look. She just smiled.
