Zac and Isaac grinned at him.
"Tired Tay?" Zac asked.
"More that I miss Rita and the kids."
"Oh."
"Yeah, I know the feeling." Isaac nodded.
"What's the time?" Taylor asked.
"Way too late to give them a call. It's like midnight over there."
"Damn."
Zac's phone rang and picked it up.
"Yo?"
"Hey Zac. It's Austin."
"Hi! How ya doin'?"
"Great, look I had to call someone, but it's kinda late over here so… I didn't have anyone else to ring because no one else would be up this time of night."
"Obviously."
"And well, I didn't know, I thought maybe that Tay and Ike might actually be talking to Rita and Babsie, so your phone was the only line I knew would be unengaged, well, unless you were in an interview or -"
"Ringing up the love line?"
Austin was quiet for a moment and Zac grinned at his listening brothers.
"I'm only joking Austin. What's the news?"
"Jess had the baby."
"Oh my gosh! Really? How is she? What is it? What's its name?"
Austin laughed.
"See? Now you know why I couldn't wait to tell anyone. Jess is doing fine. It's a boy and his name is Alexander David."
"Oh cool! When?"
"Alex was born about… ten minutes ago."
Zac laughed.
"You really couldn't wait huh?"
"Nope!"
