"Now guys, I have to ask you," a television host asked. "You've had a whole bunch of new artist come out within just a few weeks of each other."
"Yes we have." Taylor answered.
"And there are more to come." Zac added. "It's pretty much the timing of the recordings."
"Yeah, they all started recording about the same time." Isaac put in.
"Any favourites?"
"Oh now c'mon, you don't really expect us to answer that do ya?" Zac asked. "We like them all."
"Zac especially likes the Amazons." Taylor grinned. "He's talks about them a lot."
"That's because they're freaky man, not because I may or may not favour them."
"Well, y'know, all the people we signed are very talented people. And they're very good at what they do. So asking for a favourite… well, umm, I'm enjoying listening to the demos from Darlene and the Stevenson Brothers right now. Umm, their album isn't out yet." Isaac cut in. "I'm also enjoying songs by Google Eye Glasses. Their first single came out, umm, was it last week here?"
"Umm, yeah, I think so. Those guys are really funny." Taylor replied.
"I hate it when people ask us about favourites in music. It can be so hard to try and pick one." Zac added. "I think it's better not to."
A little later…
"So Zac, about your daughter, I believe she got abducted not long ago."
"Uhh, yeah. But she's ok now. All our kids are well." Zac changed the subject - he hated talking about the kidnapping.
"Yeah. Three of Tay's sons and my oldest are even starting their own band." Isaac added. "They call themselves the Four Amigos."
"Our wives blame it on us for watching all the old movies all the time." Taylor grinned. "Not that that's necessarily a bad thing."
"In fact it's a lot better for Ike to watch the old movies. He tends to get a little obsessed with new ones. Like Austin Powers and the X-men." Zac teased.
"Hey! Don't bash the X-men."
"Typical. You guys do know that he's even named a few of his kids after X-men. What, there's Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, and Cyclops."
"And Xavier."
"What?" Taylor asked.
"Well, we only realised it after we named him, but Professor X? The 'X' stands for Xavier. So ha." Isaac grinned.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, lemme get this straight." The tv host said. "You named your kid Cyclops?"
"Exactly. I mean, c'mon, the poor kid is gonna be scarred for life." Taylor said.
"No he's not." Isaac defended.
"Well, actually, Ike is probably right." Zac said suddenly.
"What?" Taylor asked.
"Well, let's consider who the parents are… if any of their kids turn out to be boring, then, then, then there must have been a mix up at the hospital or something. And boy, if there is a mix up at the hospital, I pity the poor couple who get stuck with theirs."
Taylor and Isaac laughed.
