Chapter 32

It was a few days after Rita and Rose were released from the hospital.

"Hey Tay! Mail!" Zac called. "Ooh, it's a big one, I think a fan has discovered our private postal address again."

Taylor was smiling as he plonked down the stairs.

"Ooh, it is a big envelope." He commented, picking it up off the counter.

Taylor ripped open the seal and pulled out a manilla envelope.

"What's in it?" Zac asked.

There was silence as Taylor opened the folder and stared at the contents.

"Tay?"

Still silence.

"What is it Tay?" Zac was obviously concerned.

"See for yourself." Taylor replied quietly.

Giving his brother a curious look, Zac looked inside the folder. His eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh!" he gasped.

Inside the folder were photos, about 20-odd. Each one was taken the day Rita and Rose were brought home from the hospital.

Every single figure had something done to it. People who had been presumed total strangers had been blackened out. Of the members of their family that had been there, only Taylor, Rita and their kids' figures hadn't been scratched. No, instead the eyes had been burnt out of them.

As for Taylor himself, someone had gone to all the trouble of drawing on angels wings.

"Zac?" Taylor asked quietly.

"Yeah?"

"Don't, don't show anyone this. Don't tell anyone at all. Especially Rita."

Zac nodded slowly.

"What are you going to do?"

Taylor shrugged.

"Take it to the cops I suppose."

"Good idea. This persons is obviously a psycho."

Zac took another look at the photos and shuddered.

"I guess we know what's triggered all those crank calls lately."

Taylor nodded slowly.

"I, I, it looks like I, I have... a stalker."
