Isaac ignored him.
"And what's more, it's seven in the morning. Just how much sleep did ya get last night?"
Still no answer.
"I think you need to sit down a bit. Maybe go to sleep?"
Isaac gave Zac a look.
"But I might miss something."
"I'll wake you." He yawned. "Of course, that's assuming I'm awake."
There was silence.
"You know Ike, some births can go for over a day. Are you planning on pacing for twenty-four hours without a break?"
Isaac glared at him.
"I still can't believe you talked me into coming with you. I could be curled up in bed right now, enjoying a sleep in. But oh no, you had to wake me up."
"As I recall, you were already awake - raiding the fridge for a midnight snack."
"Details, details. You didn't need to drag me along on your escapade."
"Escapade? Babsie was going into labour!"
"You still didn't need to take me."
"You offered to drive."
"Oh yeah."
Isaac rolled his eyes.
"Well, do you want some breakfast? I think there's a -"
"No."
"You have to eat sooner or later." Zac studied him. "Well, I'm gonna go eat something. I be back."

Two and a bit hours later...
"Hi sweetie." Isaac greeted, walking into the room.
"Hey Ike." Babsie replied sleepily.
"Tired?"
"Is that a trick question?"
He smiled and a few minutes later, Zac came in yawning, only to see they had both fallen asleep.
