Chapter 2

Zac was feeling really weird. One moment he had been in a water fight of sorts with Avie, the next he was submerged in warm water.

And if that wasn't strange enough, his insides were all frozen, but his outsides were slowly beginning to be able to move freely.

His guess was that he must have turned into water during the fight, and Avie accidentally froze him. They must have filled something with warm water in order to help him melt.

But what was the something? As Zac's eyes adjusted to the watery view, the only conclusion he could draw was that he was not in the bath. In fact, it looked more like a pond. But with some technological adjustments, Zac added to his thoughts, seeing evidence of a pump and what not.

But what pond? Where? The only pond he knew of was one in a nearby park. But there was no way that they would put him in that!

So, where was he?

Slowly the warm water continued to melt his frozen self. It was such a relief to be able to move again. Well, in a manner of speaking, seeing as he was still in a watery state. It was a good thing his affinity with Water allowed him to breathe water as if it were air.

At last the, uhh, ice melted, and he was back to his... watery self. Zac made for the surface, and as his body emerged from the water, so it turned human. His eyes widened as he looked around.

The first thing he noticed was a table full of food. There were two chairs and a large poster bed. There were plants everywhere and the more prominent feature was probably the pool that he was still standing in. The pool took up about half the floor space.

Zac also noticed a few things obviously put there for entertaining himself, but there was something bothering him about the room. There was something not quite right...

"There's no door!" he exclaimed.

And so there was, err, wasn't. No doors. There weren't any windows either. How the heck he ended up in there he didn't know. Unless there was a secret passage or something.

He stepped out of the pool completely, and took a better look around.

"Where the heck am I?" Zac asked himself. "And what the heck am I doing here? And where's everyone else?"

Zac frowned, totally and completely stumped for answers. He started looking around for a phone, but like the doors and windows, there was none to be seen.

He tapped his fingers on his leg for a moment, then went back into the pool to see if there was anywhere out of this place through that. Like a pipe or something. Unfortunately, his search proved futile.

Zac got out of the pool and banged his head lightly against the poster bed a couple of time before resting it against the respective pillar and sinking down onto the edge of the mattress.

"Hey if anyone wants to clue me in..." he said loudly.

But like he expected, there was no reply. Zac sighed and started going through the PlayStation games that were in a pile next to a television in the room.
