It was later that day. Isaac and Zac were seeing just how fast Avie could go. Taylor was hanging out with Rachel.
"And she's not even panting. Her pulse hasn't even increased." Zac added. "Not even a sweat!"
Avie grinned.
"Which brings up an interesting question." Isaac continued thoughtfully. "Is this a Level 1 or a Level 2 power?"
"Oh, what does it matter? I can do it can't I?"
"Well, see, Ike, Level 2 powers work subconsciously. So, if Avie can stop herself from running so fast, then it must be Level 1. Simple." Zac answered.
"So, want me to do it again?" Avie asked.
"Yeah, ok." Isaac answered. "But this time try to control it. Try and do it in, say, twenty seconds."
Avie sighed heavily.
"That be right. That all the fun out of it." She joked.
Still she was able to do it. She did however, jokingly made a complaint that it was 'way too slow'.
"Must be Level 1 then." Zac nodded.
And Isaac agreed.

Diana sighed.
"Honey, I really don't know what to do about Zoe." She said. "I know she doesn't mean it, but I've been really hesitant about taking her out in public again."
Walker patted her back.
"I know." He said. "I also know the boys have been working with her a lot, trying to help her control this Fire affinity she has."
"Oh, don't get me wrong. I know they've been trying. You can't blame me for being worried. Unchecked she might burn down the entire house! And what if the wrong people find out? They could be… could be…"
Diana started crying.
"Everything is going to be all right, you'll see. The boys know what they're doing. And the wrong people are never going to find out. Don't worry."
She sniffed unhappily as Walker wrapped his arms around her.
