"Don't!" Zac yelped.
Blake gave him an astonished look.
"Why not?"
"What if they already know that the thing has broken down huh? If you fix it - assuming your power is strong enough to fix an elevator right now - they're gonna wonder how it happened."
"Big deal. So they'll have a mystery on their hands. Doesn't matter."
"Hey, I don't know about you, but I do not want it getting out that Zac Hanson has superhuman powers."
"Superhuman powers?" Jess repeated. "I think you're letting this get to your head. Don't mind him Blake. Zac is just… over protective and paranoid."
"A little paranoia never hurt anyone." James pointed out. "It can be quite healthy. Perhaps a little discretion Blake?"
"Oh, ok, ok."
"Actually, I think Jess is right." Isaac said. "I think Zac is letting this powers thing get to his head. He thinks he's Superman."
"Now that's an interesting thought." Taylor commented. "I mean, c'mon together we actually do have all of Superman's powers."
"Oh?" Isaac asked. "Lemme see, when James enhances her powers, Avie can shoot lasers out of her eyes, and, well, can he make things ice cold too? I don't remember."
"Me neither, although I think there was an episode of Lois and Clarke where he did." Taylor replied. "And let me see, Avie has Speed, Blake had Strength, oh and umm… well, Isaac can fly if he shape shifts into a bird or something."
"Oh, wait a second… we can't turn back time." Blake said.
"Well, no actually, Zac claimed that he once fixed a time loop with Restoration. So, we kinda have that." Isaac pointed out.
"A time loop?" James asked.
"Long story, no tell." Zac replied.
"Why?"
"Because."
"Oook…"
"And we have X-ray vision." Jess cut in, giving Blake a smile.
"Yeah. Oh, wait, no we don't have all Superman's powers, well, unless someone here can wipe someone's memories by kissing them." Blake pointed out.
"Oh damn. Spoiled that idea." Isaac replied. "And well, there was an episode of Lois and Clarke where they said that he would have an, umm, extended life time? So, unless someone here has like, some Level 2 power of Immortality or something…"
"Say, I have a question." Blake said. "Is Avies' Speed power Level 1, or 2?"
"1." Zac replied the same time Taylor said "2."
"Excuse me?" Zac said. "I don't think so."
"Ahh yes." said Isaac ironically. "Here we are back at the dropped-but-debatable question: Is Avies' Speed power Level 1 or Level 2? Of course, now we can apply a similar version to you Blake: Is Blakes' Strength power Level 1 or Level 2?"
"Does it really matter?" Jess asked. "It's not important."
"Maybe not." Zac said. "But debating the subject will give us something to do."
