"Here we are," Starla said, standing up.
She helped Taylor out of the seat and guided him to the laboratory.
"It's so amazing out here," Taylor said, staring through the window.
Starla smiled.
"Yes it is. We have to remember that. Sometime you become so accustomed to living here you forget to look."
"I think that's true for everyone. You don't always see the beauty of where you live, but you can see it everywhere else."
"Mmm... Can you stand here please?"
"Okay."
Taylor stood on the platform. Starla worked the controls, pressed a few more buttons, read a few more screens and turned back to him.
"Good luck to you. And goodbye."
"Good bye. And thanks for all your help."
Taylor felt his mind being pulled from the body. He seemed to drift for a moment, then suddenly went zoomed down to the planet. Through the clouds. Over the sea. Over a few islands. Over one of these islands. Jo was sitting on his body. He was in his body.
*What? What are you doing back here?* Gordon said.
*I'm reclaiming my body,* Taylor replied coldly.
*What? No!*
*I'm sorry, I won't take 'no' for an answer.*
Before Gordon had any chance to fight, his mind was ripped from Taylor's body, whooshed through the atmosphere and into the artificial body Taylor once inhabited.
A smile was on Starla's face.
"Welcome home Gordon," she smiled cooly. "I'm afraid your body was destroyed when we took your ship. But don't worry. You may not be stuck in that body for long."
She had activated the immobilisation option, so that Gordon couldn't touch her when she sauntered up to him. She put her mouth close to his ear.
"We might take you out and just keep you in a container in a nice black bag instead."
Gordon couldn't move his mouth, so there was no way for him to scream at her. Starla smirked at him and called security.
"See you at the trial."
