"If you mean arguing, Mackie and Zoe do it all the time." Taylor grinned.
"Well, I'm not sure if they do. Ok, see uhh -"
"Carla and I occasionally have telepathic battles." Nate interrupted. "What happens is that Carla puts an image of herself in my mind, and I put an image of myself in her mind."
"And then we well, fight. Like I might have my image throw a punch at Nate's head." Carla giggled.
"And I'd retaliate somehow, like picking her up and throwing her across the room."
"Of course, we can also change our surroundings, so I could like, make it a padded room so I don't get hurt."
"You can also create items, so I might just pull out a chainsaw."
"And I might have been watching Sabrina lately, and so point a finger at the chainsaw, and it turns into dust."
Nate gave Carla a look.
"Umm, you might consider making rules first though." He pointed out.
"Yeah, otherwise you end up with an Anything Goes Melee. And the trick to winning that is to be a smart-alec."
"Like certain younger sisters I could mention."
Carla grinned.
"Of course, I win most of the ones where we have rules in anyway. I come under the 'smart-alec' category."
"Hey, sounds like fun." Isaac said.
"Yeah - I'm jealous." Zac complained.
"Hey, maybe now that there's more of us, once us newbies get the hang of it, we could have huge battles." Taylor suggested.
"Yeah." Carla agreed. "A whole tournament - or a war."
"You guys are so gonna have to show us how." Isaac said.
"Oh, we will, don't you worry." Nate said. "And it's a lot safer have battle in our head than physically. You can't get hurt in the mind battles."
"Besides, it's a lot more fun." Carla grinned. "Oh man, you know, once… I put myself into like, this nuclear suit protection thing and then I dropped a nuclear warhead on Nate."
"Like she said." Nate commented. "All you need is one smart-alec."
"Oh don't you worry Nate." Taylor said, rubbing his hands together. "By the time we're done, there's gonna be a lot more smart-alecs to deal with."
