"Who's Jo?" Carla asked.
"Oh, umm, she's the other anomaly."
"Oh, ok… what makes you think she'd know?"
"Let's just say, it involves her powers. That's all I'm gonna say."
"Ok. Let us know if she can. Meanwhile, umm, what are we gonna do with it?"
By now the arm had stopped struggling, and the booga have been wiped off it's finger. It had now, uhh, curled up on Isaac lap and gone to sleep.
"Oh look. Ike has a pet." Rachel teased.
"That's right." Taylor grinned. "Some people have dogs. Some people have cats. Isaac has an arm."
Isaac grinned, then telekinetically scrunched up a piece of scrap paper (there was a pile of it) off the table and threw it at Taylor.
"Of course, that does explain it." Jess commented.
"Explain what?" Zac asked.
"Well, I thought I felt Isaac's empathic signature coming from Rach's suitcase before. Well, actually it was slightly different."
"Really? I noticed that too." Taylor said. "Didn't think much of it though. I just thought I'd been working too hard."
"So that's how it got here." Isaac said. "The little hitch hiker."
"You know what? It reminds me of Thing. From the Addams family." Zac commented.
"Hey, you're right. He needs a name." Isaac paused. "Maybe I will call him Thing."
"That's taken." Taylor grinned. "You should call him Arm. Or maybe Isaac Junior."
"Ugh, no."
"Well, there's always, It, What, That, This…" Carla rattled off.
"How about IJ?" Nate joked.
"IJ." Isaac laughed.
Hmm, maybe those two would get along after all.
"Or TJ - y'know, Thing Junior." Nate went on.
"Or Ringo!" Isaac grinned gleefully. " 'Cause like, ring go on it?"
He laughed at his stupid joke.
"That is so weird." Jess said, staring at it. "How can it be alive?"
No one answered.
