"Hi Ike." She replied cheerfully. "Hey, guess what Jeff sent me."
"Umm, virtual flowers?"
Rachel stared at him.
"Hey, how'd you know that?"
"Tay told me." Isaac grinned, sitting down.
She looked confused.
"How'd he find out?"
"Didn't you tell him?"
"Heck, no. I only got them ten minutes ago. You're the first one I've told."
"Really? How weird. Was Jess or Avie in here?"
"No, they're with Diana remember? And Zoe's asleep."
There was a puzzled silence.
"He's better not have sent a probe into my head." Rachel said at last.
"Normally I would say Tay wouldn't do that, but he's jealous enough."
A weak smile crossed her face.
"Of course, it could have been Mackie." Isaac said, stopping the turn the conversation was taking. "But why the heck Mackie would be interested in what you're doing and why he would tell Tay, I don't know."
Rachel was silent for a moment.
"Ike?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you do me a favour and tell Tay to keep his probes to himself?"
Isaac grinned.
"My pleasure, believe me, my pleasure. In fact, I'm even gonna go and tell him right now."
Rachel laughed as Isaac waved and returned to his own room.
"Oh Taylor!" he said in a sing-songy voice.
"Yeah?" Taylor asked, looking up from the computer.
Isaac wagged a finger at him.
"Did you know that Rachel hadn't told anyone but me about the flowers? And she only told me just then."
Taylor bit his lip and gave his brother a guilty look.
"It's not what you think though Ike."
Isaac raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really? This oughta be good."
"Ike, I can honestly tell you I did not send a probe into her head - I know that's what you're thinking."
"I'm not about to dispute you knowing what I'm thinking Tay. But if you didn't send a probe into her head, how'd you know?"
