"You won again huh?" he said.
"Yeah, of course!"
"And so modest too I see."
"As always."
Zac grinned.
"Tell me Ike, have you ever lost against anyone?"
Isaac gave his brother a small smile.
"Yeah, Carla. But no one ever wins against Carla. Not even Nate - not that he's that good - but he has been playing it far longer than we have."
"Just Carla?" Zac teased.
"Oh, ok, ok, Taylor's beaten me once or twice too. But I still think he has an advantage. I bet he reads my thoughts, the cheater."
"Come, come Ike. We both know Tay would never do such a thing."
"Yeah, I suppose. It probably just that we know each other so well."
"Probably."
Zac sighed.
"You wishing you could join in huh?" Isaac asked.
"Yeah. It's not fair. Why can't I have Telepathy?"
"Umm, because you're just not special enough."
"Rats."
Isaac grinned.
"When do you think I will be special enough?" Zac asked.
"Now that's an interesting thought." Isaac replied. "Because everyone except me has three powers, and I have four, maybe five."
"And Jo. Jo doesn't have three powers, she has two."
"Well, yeah, two that we know of. But if it's the general rule for everyone to have three, then she probably has a third one we don't know about."
"If three is the general rule, I think you'd better give up a couple of powers bro."
"The key word there is 'general'."
"Yeah, so based on that, I think it's entirely possible that Jo will never have a third one. But with Invulnerability and Intelligence, who says she needs a third?"
"True, true."
