"Umm, the same kind of guy who would send her real ones except by the time she returned home from tour they'd be dead?"
Taylor opened his mouth to reply, then closed it, then opened it again and said:
"Shut up."
Isaac grinned.
"I bet you've never done it." Taylor accused.
"Actually, I have."
Taylor raised an eyebrow.
"You? You sent someone cyberspace flowers?"
"Sure. I've sent them to Carla every now and then." Isaac smiled, more to himself than Taylor.
Isaac caught Taylor giving him a weird look.
"What?" Isaac demanded.
"I just... why?"
"Why? Well, why not? Ok, ok, so virtual flowers aren't quite the same as real ones, it's the thought that counts."
"That is such a cliche."
"It's true." Isaac shot Taylor an interested look. "You wouldn't happen to be jealous of Rach's new boyfriend?"
"Jealous? Who, me?" Taylor replied sarcastically. "What makes you think I'd be jealous of some guy on the other side of cyberspace who's dating my ex-girlfriend whom I certainly wish I'd never broken up with in the first place? Jealous?"
Isaac nodded slowly.
"Well, at least you admit it."
"He's probably some forty-year-old pervert anyway." Taylor muttered.
Isaac snickered.
"Or maybe he's a twenty-year-old uni student studying marketing like he says he is."
"Or maybe he's a thirty-five year old rat bag who preys on young girls' hearts and tricks them into meeting him just so he can rape and murder them."
"Ooh." Isaac winced. "You really have it out for this guy huh?"
"With a passion."
"I can tell. But if were you, I wouldn't pass along that particular sentiment onto Rach."
Taylor didn't reply.
