Chapter 6

The following day Isaac and Rachel were in a music store, checking out some CDs.

"Oh gee, I don't know." Rachel was saying. "Those guys do nothing for me."

Isaac laughed.

"You sure? I would have thought you were a strong BSB fan."

"A bunch of guys singing and dancing unbecoming moves and wearing daggy clothes? No thanks."

Isaac laughed again.

"Oh, damn, look at the time. I have to go. See you later Ike."

"Ok, see ya."

Rachel left the store, and ran straight into Taylor.

"Whoa, hey, where are you going in such a hurry?" he asked.

"Home. Mom said I had to be home by five because our cousins are coming over. And it's nearly that now."

"Oh, ok. Do you want a lift?"

"Sure, thanks."

Rachel and Taylor started walking towards where he had parked his car in the car park.

"So, get anything today?" Taylor asked.

"Nah. Well, except maybe insulted."

"Oh?"

"Isaac thought I was a BSB fan."

Taylor laughed.

"Hey, you know, they're nice guys."

"I'm sure they are very nice guys, but their music does nothing for me. I mean, well, they're good at what they do, but it's just not for me. You understand right?"

"Sure I do."

"Good."

They walked the rest of the way in silence.

"Oh man." Taylor complained. "They've done it again. Gee, they never do this to Ike's car."

"Well, gee Tay, that might be because he's lied to everyone about the type of car he has. You, on the other hand -"

"Haven't said a thing about having a car." Taylor interrupted. "They must have people at the motor registry or something. Next thing you know, they'll be photos of it on Hanson fan websites."

"Actually, there already are." Rachel grinned. "In some of them the fan is total draped over the top. It's so funny."

They pulled off all the streamers and photos and whatever else that had been 'decorating' the car.
