“I’m sorry sir, but the Goblin hasn’t reappeared -”
“I don’t care for your excuses, minion! I want Gretel here, and I want her now!” he shouted. “Get out! And if I see you again without her, I’ll -”
The poor minion’s face went white as he heard the rather lengthy description of what evil Isaac and Carla declared they would do to him, and his insides. He ran out of there as if all hell was chasing him.
Isaac seethed. Everything had been going so well, and then Gretel had to betray him to their family. Former family, rather. It had to be Gretel – no one else would have the knowledge or the audacity. Well, he fixed them good, he did. And if by chance they actually survived, they wouldn’t be foolish enough to try again. He was sure of that.

Meanwhile, Gretel was attempting to formulate a new plan of her own. Whatever the Hansons’ had tried, they had failed. Gaining another opportunity was going to be tricky at best.
She hated having to rely on them again, but so far the Triggered had proved to be more powerful than mutants. Not just in the capabilities of individual powers, but also in strength. Isaac was the most powerful she had ever come across and it would no doubt take Triggered to handle the Triggered. Worse yet, they were in league with MIA, and Gretel had no interest in showing her hand.

“Maybe we should try storming the place,” Zac said. “I mean, your mole knows where it is, right? We can just invade it.”
“MIA doesn’t want to do that,” Trinity said. “Knowing where the place is is more important than raiding it. Besides, our mole is certain that there’s a bunch of escape routes that they haven’t located yet. It wouldn’t do anyone any good if Isaac found one of those routes and escaped before we got to him. Then we would have no idea where he is.”
“Ugh. This is stupid!”
“So what do we do then?” Taylor asked. “I mean, we have to fix this before he does any more harm. And I’d say that things are definitely going to get worse.”
Trinity shrugged.
“I’m happy to hear any ideas.”
“And knock them all down, one by one?” Zac asked.
“Zac,” Diana frowned.
“Sorry.”
“Well… if we can’t go to him, then maybe we should bring him to us,” Nate replied.
“Brilliant. And how do you suggest we do that? Sky write a message saying ‘Hey dork, meet us behind the toilets at 3pm today’?” Zac asked sarcastically.
Everyone looked at each other.
“Y’know what Zac?” Taylor grinned. “That’s not such a bad idea.”
