"He's so hot." She murmured to herself. "Oh yeah, like I never knew that."
She sighed.
"Ahh, that's the curse and the blessing of human bodies. Hormones." She giggled. "I wonder, if I were in my natural form would he'd still be the hottie he is."
Amused by this idea, she sat up, pulling the Hanson poster out and sticking it to her wall. Then she traced along Taylors' face and smiled to herself.
"You sexy little spunk you." She said. "My gosh, I swear you get sexier every time I see you."
"Ama!" called 'her' little brother Thomas. "Dad's here. He wants to speak to you."
A smirk grew on he face, then she quickly wiped it off.
"Don't worry gorgeous. We'll soon be together. My plan is now in action."
And on that she bounded out the door and down the stairs.
"Yes Dad?" she asked.
"Honey, you know about the divorce..."
"Yeah?" Amarita asked cautiously, a sad look on her face.
"I know you said you wanted to live with me when I moved to Tulsa, but I'm afraid it's not going to happen."
"Why?" she demanded, this time honestly upset.
"Look, you're just going to have to wait a year or so ok sweetie? It's just not -"
All time seemed to halt.
"I'm not gonna let anyone keep me away from my Taylor." She growled.
Amarita hadn't actually stopped time, just slowed it down a bit... ok a lot, just so she could concentrate on some quick changes. Then she restored it. She knew that if she stopped time, the others would know, and would want to know why.
"appropriate just now." Her father continued. "I'm sorry."
She looked disappointed.
"Ok." And on that she walked back to her room. "Three, two one..."
The phone rang and she knew her father was picking it up.
Sometimes later, he knocked on her door.
"Come in." She said.
"Honey, there's been a change in plans. You're able to come to Tulsa with me if you want."
Amarita's eyes brightened.
"Really?" she asked excitedly.
"Really." He confirmed, smiling.
"Oh wow! I can't wait!"
