He dropped to his knees on the driveway and bend over as if to kiss the ground. Then he sat up.
"No, no." he said. "Better not do that. Never know how many fans who have been here have done the same thing."
"Eww." Jess commented.
"Hey look, we've had visitors." Taylor grinned, pointing at the verandah.
"Aww, ain't dat sweet. Lots 'n' lots of flowers just for us." Zac snickered.
Isaac got out of the tour bus awkwardly on his crutches. At least his wrist had healed, that was something anyway.
"Ahh, as much as I love touring, it's great to be home." He sighed.
"I'll drink to that." Taylor agreed.
"Drink what? Coke? Lemonade? Hot chocolate?" Zac asked cheekily.
Taylor whacked him over the head.
"Zac!"
Zac turned his attention away from Taylor to wave to Mary Anne. He gave her a hug.
"Hey, long time, no see."
"I missed you too."
Zac grinned.
"Ooh, I got you a souvenir."
"Oh really?"
"Yes. You'll love it. Gimme a sec and I'll find it."
Zac bounced back into the tour bus leaving Mary Anne with a weird look on her face.
"Well, he's not excited now is he?" Jess commented dryly.
Zac jumped back out the tour bus again, brandishing a box. He handed it to Mary Anne.
"Ta da!"
Mary Anne grinned and opened up the wrapping.
"Oh my gosh! This is so cool!" she gasped. "I've been wanting to get this game forever."
"And now you have it." Zac grinned. "Wanna go play?"
"Heck yeah."
"You mind Mom?"
Diana shook her head smiling.
"Go ahead Zac."
