At Isaac's bidding after he finally got Taylor's video (although it was rather distorted going through Cuddles) he had told Zac to get their dad and Jess while he made sense of it all.
"Ok so when we were in the accident Taylor was playing with one of his probes." Isaac began. "But somehow his mind ended up in the probe."
"His mind is in his probe?" Zac repeated.
Isaac nodded, then frowned.
"Or maybe it's in the rock... I'm not sure."
"In the rock?" Jess asked.
"Yeah, this rock." Isaac lifted it up. "It's hard to tell - Taylor's trying to tell me through Cuddles and it's kinda confusing."
"Riiiight."
"Yeah, well, either way his mind - as you so found out Jess - is not in his body any more. It's somehow connected with this rock. And he's had to..." Isaac frowned for a moment, "use other people's bodies to get here."
"Use other people's bodies?" Walker repeated.
"Umm, yeah... hey that explains what happened with the nurse before."
"What nurse?"
"Oh well..." Zac went on to explain.
Taylor was so happy. He had finally made contact with his family. Or some of them.
"So, he's in here, right now." Jess breathed.
If Taylor could have grinned, he would have. For at that moment they all started looking around as if they could expect to actually see him.
"So does, ahh, does Cuddles have anything more to say?" Walker asked finally.
They all turned to Isaac who looked at Cuddles. He spoke to Cuddles for a moment, then looked up at his family with a confused look.
"I don't quite understand it." Isaac said. "I know Cuddles is trying to send me a message from Tay, but it's not a video, and Cuddles doesn't understand so I'm getting it all jumbled up."
*Drat.* Taylor muttered. *Ok, umm... I guess I'm... ooh!*
"Well, what do you th-" Zac began.
"Shh, Cuddles is sending me something." Isaac interrupted.
For a moment confusion and concentration gave way to incredulous. Then a grin crossed his face and he started laughing.
