"Ok, who first?" Jess asked gleefully.
"Ike." Avie answered after a moments' thought.
Jess closed here eyes and concentrated. Carefully, and for the first time, she opened up her Dreams block to Isaac.
"What is it?" Avie whispered.
"Nothing. He isn't dreaming of anything."
"Oh. Well, that's boring." Avie paused. "Can you make him dream of something?"
"Dunno."
"Try!"
"Like what?"
"Umm… he's being chased by psycho fans."
"That's boring. He's always getting chased."
"Did I say they had to stay as fans?"
Jess opened an eye and looked at the gleeful expression on Avie's face.
"I'll try, but I don't know if I can meddle with dreams."
Jess concentrated. She pictures Isaac running, and slowly integrated the fans. A smile grew on her face as she realised it was working. She could do it! Avie noted her smile.
"He's just run around a corner… he's turning into a mouse." Jess giggled.
"Make the fans turn into a snake." Avie suggested.
Jess laughed and did just that.
"Ok, he's seen the snake… he's running again… ok, now he's oh the cheater. He's becoming a surface. On the wall."
"Hmm…"
"Oh, wait, I have an idea… I'm putting graffiti on the wall, ok… and now a guy with a graffiti blaster is coming along…"
Avie laughed.
"Oh, I forgot, Ikers has shields… dang… oh well, I can fix that…" Jess chuckled. "He's suddenly discovered they aren't working."
"Oh man, I wish I could meddle with people's dreams too." Avie said wistfully.
"Ok, he's changing again… he's a bird. Hmm… ok…"
"What?"
"Whoever said dreams had to be realistic? I created a giant hand to pick him up and now he's in a cage and he can't change shape any more."
"He's stuck as a bird?"
"Yep… hey, where's that snake?"
Avie giggled.
