"Jess?" He murmured softly to himself. "Well, all I can say is, I know how she feels."
On this, he carefully got out of his bed, making sure not to disturb his brothers and slipped out the bedroom door, over to Jess and Avie's room.
"Jess?" he called quietly.
"Tay?" she sniffled.
In the dark, Taylor took her hand.
"C'mon, we'll talk in the kitchen."
The two made their way down and turned on the light. Taylor studied his sister's face.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"There's, there's things in my head."
"What things?"
"Images. And, and… I don't know, mainly images, and something else, like, umm… oh I don't know!"
"Shh, that's ok." Taylor said, giving her a hug. "We'll figure out what later. First of all, you remember how to block stuff out?"
She nodded.
"Ok, block it out."
A moment later she nodded again.
"Gone." She said, then burst into tears.
"Hey, hey, It's ok Jess. It's ok. Do you want to tell me about it?"
"I, I, I don't know what to say! It was just all a big mess and I, I could make any sense of it and I wish Zac had never triggered my powers!"
Taylor didn't really know what to say.
"What, what were the images?"
Jess was silent for a moment.
"I don't know. It was all a jumble." She paused. "Tay?"
"Yeah?"
"I think I know what the other thing was."
"What?"
"People."
