"So, Zac, I've been meaning to ask you," Taylor said, "by any chance, were your sheets sticky this morning?"
"Was he moaning and talking in his sleep again Tay?" Isaac asked with a cheeky grin.
"Umm, no…"
"Why do you ask?" Zac asked warily.
"Because I think you dreamt about Mary Anne from down the street last night."
There was no way Zac could hide his embarrassment. Isaac and Taylor cracked up laughing, Jess smiled and Avie just looked a little confused.
"I'm sorry Zac, we shouldn't laugh." Taylor chuckled. "It's just umm, me and Jess found out about another power she has."
"Oh?"
It was Jess's turn to look embarrassed.
"Zac, I'm really, really sorry. But I can see people's dreams."
Zac stared at her.
"And you can rest assured I never wanna see one of yours again. I think I'll be scarred for life."
Isaac laughed again.
"Hey, that's cool. Can you get into them too?"
"Get into them?" Jess repeated. "I don't know."
"Well, we can do some experimenting tonight ok?"
"Ok. Umm, actually Avie might have another power too. Last night she turned out the light without going near the switch."
The guys looked at each other.
"You might have Telekinesis after all." Isaac said. "Umm, see that twig there? Try moving that."
Avie tried, but to no avail.
"Well, obviously it's something else then huh?" Zac said. "You switched off the light… well, there's the back light over there, try turning it on."
Avie though about turning the light on, and it did.
"Whoo hoo!" Zac yelled triumphantly.
"Oh wow, I can turn lights on and off." Avie said dryly.
"Hey, don't be so down about it Avie." Taylor said. "We don't know that's all you can do with that power. Umm, you'd better turn off the light though."
Avie gave a wry smile before turning the light off again.
